Welcome!

I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…

Hello and Thank You Gallery B in Bethesda, Maryland

Got news yesterday that my piece, "Wet Run" depicting a steeple chase race, has been accepted into MFA at Gallery B to be installed early November. Gallery B is in a fabulous W.D.C. in town area called Bethesda.  The fact that those are my old stomping grounds only sweetens the fact that I'll be hung there (I was also blessed to have made the cut last year for the same show).

I'm exceedingly pleased to have been chosen for this show for several reasons, first being that there were over 450 entries.  WOW!  Secondly, of the 450, only 45 artists were chosen for the show.  I love beating the odds!  To say I'm humbled is a gross understatement.

After seeing the stellar work my cohorts at MFA brought to the table, I'm dually excited to have been included.  These are artists that I esteem greatly...men and women with longstanding careers who have been featured artists in galleries all over the globe.  I hope to mirror them in that regard, but if I could command a small but loyal following regionally here in Maryland, I'd be equally delighted!

I hope to see you all at the Gallery B reception on Wisconsin Avenue this November.  See www.mdfedart.org for upcoming details on that shin dig and consider yourself invited!

Thank you for plugging along with me....new work coming soon, my modern portraiture of a child sleeping.  I did the underpainting yesterday and hope to have it sketched out tomorrow for you to see.
