Welcome!

I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…

Not Sure Where Half Of May Went...

Hello!

Lots to report today.

First off- My car just about died on the busy route 50 highway last night.  I hit a pothole the size of Delaware then shortly after the back of my car started violently shaking as if it were preparing to lift off.  No flat tire, just a bent wheel base...ugh.  Traffic and folks going 80 mph, not willing to let me over, didn't help the situation.

Luckily (thank God!) for good service.  I called Mercedes of Annapolis where Mike, the manager, got another car ready to loan me and versed me on Mercedes roadside assistance.  I need to mention here that I bought that car from his shop in 2009, yet he still felt the need to take care of me seven years later.  Thank you, Mike!

Secondly and thanks to Mike's quick turn around, I was only 40 minutes late to my show at West Annapolis Artworks.  When I got there, there were plenty of smiles and lots of bubbly, which I was in great need of.  It was 95 and humid out, and there's nothing like a chilled glass of white to lift one's spirits (I need to stock pile some happy for when my car estimate comes back and I want to long jump off a short pier).

I have some photos from the event to share with you:

Above are some lovely modern pieces by my cohorts, other artists represented jointly by Kellee Wynne Conrad and West Annapolis Art Works.

The show runs through August 6, 2016.  Please stop by if you can.  Below are photos of a few attendees.  I love art openings in Annapolis!  Annapolis is such a laid back town, after all, it is America's Sailing Capital, so shorts and sundresses are pretty much standard fair for all summer events.

I'm the big goofy one on the left.  In the middle is another artist represented by the same team as myself.  She's from South America and absolutely adorable, curvy, and as sweet as can be.  Damn South Americans!  My fellow mama …

Hope everyone out there in internet land had a splendid weekend!  I want to send a warm welcome to my new newest viewers in Munich, Britain, NYC, and Kentucky!

Midsummer Madness at MFA!

Happy Memorial Day! Thank you Vets!
