Welcome!

I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…

Sunshine and 91 Degrees!

Can you guess where I am? We’re staying at a condo in Sarasota for nearly two weeks, which may actually be the longest time our family of six has ever been away together. We left cold, wet Northern Michigan in two vehicles, stopped in Nashville for the night, then finished up the 24 hour one-way drive. The kiddos were fantastic! Having more space made all the difference with the added bonus of an extra car for our new driver to get some highway miles under her belt.

I made this little watercolor today for my in-laws who are hosting us. We’re celebrating the end of My father in law’s second round of chemo and radiation 5x a week for six weeks! He’s one tough nut!!!

This quick little piece is 8x10 on Canson mixed media art board. If your happy place needs an original watercolor with pen and ink, simply send me a couple photos and I’ll create a piece for you for $75 including shipping. You can contact me through the contact page on this site.
