At about 1pm this afternoon, the power went out due to a melting 12” of snow combined with three inches of rain and 50 mph winds.
It was dark in my studio but I had this last piece to finish and deliver by Monday. And so, I was painting by the window as the wind whipped by at 50 mph. I had enough time to almost finish up Spiny Lobster for the 2024 Artist Guild Salon Show at Crooked Tree Gallery here in Traverse City. Please come by and see if you are up this way!
