Today I really softened up the geometry of the piece and in the process made some interesting possibilities as far as both subject and composition.
I added in chromium green blended with parchment then tried a green gold mixed with buff titanium. Ended up scraping them off and starting over. Perhaps green needs to find some space elsewhere….
I hope to have some clarity on whether this will be a seascape or landscape by tomorrow. Stay tuned!
