It could be that we have three feet of snow up here in NWMi., or that I haven’t seen the sun in about three weeks….I woke up this morning already anxious for Spring Break.
I wasn’t sure which way to go with this but it looked a lot like kelp so I went with it. I’ve got about four hours in so far and the piece on the right was my focus today.
I’ve got my favorite painterly playlist on Spotify, and my little guy here making his own army of tree toppers so that we can switch them out everyday. Great idea, right?
My big boys are at a hockey tourney this weekend and our girls will be home from College next week. I couldn’t feel fuller than I do and unlike a fleeting joy that comes and goes, this one seems to have stuck. I’ve been having months of “pinch me” days and it’s getting ridiculous. And it’s not just wine making me smile! I think it may be Christmas. The world’s largest birthday party for a promised Child and His gift to anyone open to accepting it.
I should have these two paintings done by Wednesday. At least, they’d better be. They are due (dry and ready to hang) at The Crooked Tree Arts Center Annual Artists Guild Show by Friday!
Stay tuned! These are for sale through me or the gallery. Please note, the gallery price will reflect their 40% commission tacked on.
Thank you for stopping by!
