I had to finish this little watercolor in my home studio this afternoon after an early rain set in over the OMP. This wine region is known for being on the 45th parallel and aping the souls/growing conditions of Bordeaux. And the cherries!!!
The pink hue in the background is a nod to the miles and miles of cherries that bloomed this week.
I painted the little flower stand adjacent to the blue house I painted yesterday…
