Had a great day today. It was cold out, however, very sunny and the light in my studio was perfectly cloud-free and bright.
I was able to get a solid 4+ hours in today. Here's the progress. Probably doesn't look like much. But remember, this painting is a monster at 48x72" . That's a lot of ground to cover (literally, the pasture and hills all have 3-4 layers of paint to achieve the look I'm getting at). I may have another fifteen to twenty hours left to go on this piece. By the time it's finished, it will look nothing like todays post photo, but that's part of the fun...the process...
