Welcome!

I’ve been documenting my creative endeavors since 2014. Thoughts on the creative process, my travels, shows, new ideas and what’s on my easel are just a few things I post on. Feel free to linger…

Christmas soon approaching....

About eight years ago, I started a series of paintings and giclee prints for the holidays.  The sketches began one Sunday morning while sitting in church.  The pastor was laying the groundwork for the Christmas celebrations at church.  I suppose I should have been paying attention to the sermon, but it was a familiar story that I've known since infancy.  The birth of the promised Christ.

I try and carry a pocket sketchbook with me wherever I go and church is no exception.  When one relies on ideas for useful employ, jotting down those random visual thoughts is imperative to producing new work.

Anyhow, that Sunday morning, my Agnus Dei series officially came into being.  I still have the early sketches, including the one from that morning at church.  I'm gonna have to say that this series really launched me artistically.  My first big sale was the original entitled Agnus Dei #2 and was purchased by a local surgeon in our small town on the west side of Cleveland.  He said that the painting reminded him of his wife and son.  Some wife, eh?

So, below are some images for your viewing pleasure (or not).  I'm still working on this series, little by little.  My own little artistic offering for the holiday season each year...Singed and numbered prints are available.
