“TANGLED UP IN BLUE”

This piece was painted for an invitation-only show a few years back at West Annapolis Art Works! I love the moody feel of this piece and the modern realism of these white birch that inspired this piece.
Our property in Northern Michigan is dotted with white birch trees and I never (!) tire of viewing them or sketching them. I take lots of photos while we camp there then rush home to put the images on canvas, but with my own bent. This piece was $2,000 at the gallery in Annapolis. I have it priced at $750 for this cleaning out the studio sale. As you can see, Tangled Up In Blue is not in the studio, but over our King Sized bed. It’s a commanding piece and I would love for it to have a new home!
