A gaggle of octopi is called a consortium. And my newest piece seems to be just that.
Over the weekend, I layered washes over random drips of chunky, nearly dried out paint from my last painting. What emerged looks a bit like an underwater happy hour. Is there such a thing? I think so.
The painting is in its infancy but I wanted to post so folks can follow along. The piece will be light and bright when all is said and done.
