Good afternoon! It’s gloomy today, rainy and very dark in my studio, so my photos aren’t looking quite as lively as I’d like. Although, this piece is really coming out really beautifully in person.
Today, I put down another three layers of paint, primarily neutrals, to frame the bold blue hues that compromise the majority of my canvas.

This piece is actually intended to be horizontal, but that is why I love abstracts…this looks just as well on it’s side…
A kind of cool effect here with the wet on wet application…
My favorite paint on the canvas so far! It’s hard to really see the colors honestly because of the poor light and glare of the wet paint, but this is going to be really a nice piece, maybe one of my favorites, after I get all the details worked in and additional contrasting colors laid down…
